This part of the work is personal. As the mother of a daughter with Down syndrome, I know what it is to sit across from a system that was not built with your child in mind — and to discover that the difference between a closed door and an open one is usually a form, a deadline, or a sentence phrased the right way.
So I bring the same thing here that I bring to a business: read everything, find where it breaks, and make the path walkable. Families get the benefit of someone who is unintimidated by paperwork and unwilling to accept "that's just how it works."
